Ευθύς μετά την άφιξή του στο Γαύριο της Άνδρου, ο Σεβασμιώτατος κ. Δωρόθεος Β΄ επεσκέφθη όλα τα Καταστήματα της περιοχής και αντήλλαξε με τους Καταστηματάρχες εγκάρδιες ευχές για το νέο έτος, οι δε ευσεβείς αλιείς της Άνδρου του προσέφεραν μόλις αλιευθέν χταπόδι.
