Προ της αναχωρήσεώς του από την Άνδρο προς Μύκονο και Σύρο, ο Σεβασμιώτατος κ. Δωρόθεος Β΄ επισκέφθηκε το Δημοτικό Σχολείο Γαυρίου, ύστερα από πρόθυμη και ευγενή αποδοχή σχετικού αιτήματός του από τον Διευθυντή και τους Διδασκάλους του Σχολείου, με τα παιδιά του οποίου ομίλησε και συνομίλησε.
